As editor-in-chief of Facility Maintenance Decisions (formerly Maintenance Solutions), Dan Hounsell has directed the magazine’s nationwide coverage of maintenance and engineering management topics in institutional and commercial facilities since the magazine's debut in 1993. Dan has written articles on the entire range of challenges facing managers, including technology trends financing issues, personnel and project management, and maintenance strategies. Dan works with the numerous professional and manufacturer associations and other industry partners to ensure FMD delivers robust, timely, relevant and insightful information to managers across all available platforms.
Away from his Milwaukee office, Dan is a semi-voracious reader, a renowned tourist, a success-spoiled Packer fan, and an eager supporter of and participant in most things Irish.
