About the Facility Maintenance Decisions Achievement Awards
The Facility Maintenance Decisions Awards recognize the essential role maintenance and engineering departments play in the safe, sustainable and efficient operation of the nation's institutional and commercial facilities.
Established in 2010, the FMDAAs recognize the important contributions maintenance and engineering departments make to their organizations. Winners will receive their awards at the National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT) Conference/Exposition in Orlando on Nov. 13-14.
The awards will recognize departments in four areas of facility maintenance and engineering: Retrofits and Renovations, Sustainability, Financial Management, and Personnel Management. For a complete list of previous winners, please click here.
Who is eligible to enter? In-house maintenance and engineering departments only
These awards recognize departments that have accomplished stand-out results in the following categories:
(HVAC system, plumbing system, roofing, grounds care, etc.)
(water savings, energy efficiency, green purchasing, recycling, etc.)
(budgeting, savings, capital planning, etc.)
(training, staffing, recruiting, outsourcing, etc.)
And the winner is…
All entries will appear for review on facilitiesnet.com/fmd/fmdaa. The judges — Facility Maintenance Decisions editors and other maintenance and engineering managers in facilities — will choose two winners in each category. They will make their choices based, in part, on voting on facilitiesnet.com/fmd/fmdaa.
One vote per person is allowed.
