Medeco Upgrades Logic CLIQ and Nexgen XT Web Software to Provide Business Domain Administration

LAS VEGAS, NV,  – Medeco High Security Locks, an ASSA ABLOY company, announces the upgrade of its Logic CLIQ and Nexgen XT web-based platforms to allow business domain administration. This functionality allows large eCylinder installations to be divided into smaller divisions allowing for enhanced key control and tighter management control.

With Domain Administration, Security Administrators may delegate key control responsibilities to Sub Administrators at different divisions, while also limiting visibility and access rights between those divisions.  This new feature will enhance both security and efficiency.

“We are seeing a dramatic increase in the number of large organizations deploying  eCylinders as a cost-efficient and highly portable method to control loss and liability, where divisional separation is important for management control,” said Joseph Kingma, Director of ASSA ABLOY High Security and Aftermarket Group eCylinder Business Development.   “This very flexible addition of business domain administration to Logic and Nexgen XT software further supports Medeco’s commitment to meet the dynamic needs of our clients.”

Domain Administration is ideal for large organizations operating on a National or International level requiring divisional security control such as: large retail establishments, hospitals, or colleges and universities. Logic CLIQ and Nexgen XT Domain Administration will be demonstrated at ISC West 2012 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada from March 28 – 30, 2012.

Medeco is part of the ASSA ABLOY group, and can be found at the ISC West show at booth #11065.
