Madico Window Films Employee Earns Prestigious Certified Energy Manager Credential
Madico Window Films poised to better serve building engineers and managers on commercial projects
St. Petersburg, FL –– Madico, Inc. one of the world’s leading manufacturers of automotive, solar, safety and security window films, today announced that Andy Hayes, Technical Services Engineer, has earned the prestigious Certified Energy Manager (CEM) professional certification from the Association of Energy Engineers.
The Association of Energy Engineers states, “Since its inception in 1981, the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential has become widely accepted and used as a measure of professional accomplishment within the energy management field. It has gained industry-wide use as the standard for qualifying energy professionals both in the United States and abroad. It is recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Office of Federal Energy Management Programs (FEMP), and the U.S. Agency for International Development, as well as by numerous state energy offices, major utilities, corporations and energy service companies.”
The CEM certification process requires that individuals meet aggressive educational and work experience criteria. After a week-long, intensive training class, potential candidates are given a four-hour, written exam they must pass in order to earn the credential.
