Carlisle Introduces Metro Green Visions (MGV) GroRoof Modular Roof Garden

(Carlisle, PA) – Carlisle SynTec Systems, a leading manufacturer of single-ply roofing materials, is pleased to introduce to the market the Metro Green Visions (MGV) GroRoof modular roof garden system.  This innovative vegetative roofing system features a patent-pending design that allows each tray to lock together with ease. Once in place, the tray sides can easily be removed to create 100% soil-to-soil contact that allows the essential sharing of nutrients, moisture, and beneficial organisms needed to create a healthy ecosystem on a rooftop.

This true hybrid system combines the benefits of traditional planted-in-place systems while maintaining the ease of installation inherent in modular systems.  The GroRoof trays arrive at the jobsite fully vegetated for instant results, and can be easily transported to the roof via crane or elevator.

“With the introduction of GroRoof, Carlisle is able to offer contractors and building owners a premium, easy-to-install Roof Garden solution having combined benefits of both traditional and modular vegetative systems,” said Richard Stever, Roof Garden product manager for Carlisle.

When the MGV GroRoof is installed in conjunction with a properly designed Carlisle EPDM, TPO or PVC roofing system the entire vegetative roof system can be covered under Carlisle’s industry-leading, single-source Golden Seal total system warranty.
