Johnson Controls and IFMA to Present Results of 2011 Energy Efficiency Indicator Survey
Press Conference Slated for 1 p.m. Oct. 27 at World Workplace 2011 Conference & Expo in Phoenix
HOUSTON — (Oct. 18, 2011) — Johnson Controls, a global leader in delivering solutions that increase energy efficiency in buildings, and the International Facility Management Association, the world’s largest association for facility professionals, will present detailed findings from the 2011 Energy Efficiency Indicator survey during a press conference at the World Workplace 2011 Conference & Expo. Entitled “Energy Perspectives Among Facility Professionals,” the event will be held Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. in the World Workplace press room at the Phoenix Convention Center.
Administered by Johnson Controls in partnership with IFMA, the Urban Land Institute and 30 strategic partners around the world, the fifth annual EEI survey polled global executives and building owners responsible for energy management and investment decisions in commercial and public-sector buildings. The survey tracked their priorities, practices, investment plans and financial evaluation criteria to understand what projects they are implementing, and the solution drivers and barriers they face. In 2011, the survey reached a record number of nearly 4,000 respondents representing 24 industry sectors and 13 countries on six continents.
The press conference will detail results from the 632 IFMA members who took the survey. Clay Nesler, vice president of global energy and sustainability at Johnson Controls, and Tony Keane, CAE, president and CEO of IFMA, will analyze the survey findings.
World Workplace is a global, multi disciplined discussion on workplace trends, challenges and best practices that will highlight the new products and services impacting the workplace throughout 2012 and beyond. To learn more about the conference or to register, visit www.worldworkplace.org.
