LEED-CI Second Public Comment Period Open



The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is now soliciting comments on the substantive changes made to the first draft of the LEED for Commercial Interiors Rating System.




The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is now soliciting comments on the substantive changes made to the first draft of the LEED for Commercial Interiors Rating System. In accordance with USGBC policy, the second public comment period will be open until Sept. 16.

Posted with the LEED-CI Second Public Comment draft are summary documents showing how comments were considered and a complete list of substantive changes made in response to these comments. The resulting draft will go before the USGBC membership for balloting. A timeline of the various steps in the balloting process and planned release of the product to the market will be released shortly. The official public release of the rating system is expected by November 2004.
