Facilities managers and building professionals looking to improve energy performance and prepare for the future of building technology have an opportunity to learn from industry experts at the upcoming Alliant Energy Breakfast Bites series hosted by Alliant Energy in partnership with Focus on Energy and Slipstream.
The free September sessions will focus on “AI and Innovation in HVAC,” featuring Erin Rau, digital solutions commercialization leader at Trane Technologies. The events take place Sept. 9 in Fond du Lac, Sept. 10 in Sheboygan and Sept. 11 in Beloit, Wisconsin. Each two-hour session runs from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., beginning with a networking breakfast, followed by an Alliant Energy welcome, a Focus on Energy update and the featured presentation. Attendees can also stay afterward for optional networking and one-on-one discussions with Focus on Energy representatives.
The Breakfast Bites series offers facilities professionals a concise way to stay current on technologies and resources that could shape the next generation of building operations.
The series will continue in November, with the second set of events planned for Nov. 11-13 in Platteville, Portage and Green Lake, Wisconsin. The free November sessions will focus on advances in lighting technology, with a presentation by Stuart Berjansky of the DesignLights Consortium.
