The National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT Remix) Conference & Expo returns once again to Orlando, Florida, this October. Running from Oct. 15 to 16, 2025, at the Orange County Convention Center, this year’s show will provide a plethora of unique experiences and opportunities for attendees. NFMT Remix is put on by TPMG, the same company behind Facility Maintenance Decisions and FacilitiesNet.com. Readers of these products will find the same level of quality information at the show as they do with these brands.

Central to the NFMT Remix experience is the Expo Hall, a hub for everyone to gather and view facilities management products and technologies from different exhibitors. Attendees can uncover the latest advancements in CMMS, plumbing, lighting, HVAC and more.

While checking out the exhibitor booths, make sure to bring along your Passport to Prizes and obtain the required stamps. Passports will be handed out at registration, and attendees can stop by each booth during Expo hours. Once every stamp has been collected, drop off your passport in the ballot box at the fnPrime booth. Drawings are held 10 minutes before the Expo Hall closes.

The show floor is also home to plenty of educational opportunities with the Learning Labs. These are 20-minute sessions exploring cutting-edge advances and sharing practical applications for many different building types. Topics range from using AI and IoT for predictive maintenance to utilizing infrared technology for building inspections.

Education sessions

All attendees are welcome to attend the General Session on Tuesday. Presenting this year is Jim Obermaier, Senior Director of Engineering & Facilities at Marriott International. It will be an engaging Fireside Chat on leadership with empathy, adaptability and vision. This session will draw upon Obermaier’s lessons from his military background and hospitality career to highlight how genuine leadership and tactical thinking can empower both teams and operations.

NFMT Remix also offers a wide variety of conference sessions available to Pro and Elite attendees. These are 50-minute in-depth presentations that address key facilities management concepts including maintenance, technology, operations and space management. Some popular sessions include “Unlock HVAC Energy Savings and Save Money by Integrating Lighting Controls,” “Designing Resilient Roofing Systems for Optimal Performance,” and “Maximizing Pavement Lifespan with Strategic Maintenance Programs.”

Additionally, two workshops – the AFE CPMM Fall ‘25 In-Person Review Session and Hire to Inspire Workshop – will be running Tuesday, Oct. 14, as well.

Networking

NFMT Remix offers many opportunities for attendees to network with other professionals in facilities management and related fields. First is the Networking Party in the Expo Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Here, attendees can join their peers alongside leading suppliers and industry experts for fun, food and drinks. Then, from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., attendees are welcome to join the FM Huddle Happy Hour, where current hot topics in facilities management will be explored. It is also a chance to talk with fellow facility managers in an informal setting. Every session is led by an experienced moderator who will direct the conversation and ensure focus.

In addition, on Thursday morning, Pro and Elite attendees are free to join the highly anticipated Women in FM Panel & Breakfast, running from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. A light reception with a continental breakfast is held prior to the panel discussion.

Registration levels and perks

There are three levels of registration: Expo Level (Free), Pro Level ($79) and Elite Level ($149). Expo Level permits access to the Expo Hall, Learning Lab Presentations, the Opening Day General Session and the Networking Party.
