Von Duprin Concealed Vertical Cable System replaces vertical rods with a flexible cable latching system and eliminates the trigger mechanism at the top of the frame. Installation process requires one point of adjustment, according to the company. Bottom latch can be adjusted while door is hanging. System has equivalent fire ratings to traditional vertical rod exit devices.
