The Quiet Electric Latch (QEL) option provides electronic control of an exit device in environments where limited operating noise is desired. The updated QEL includes new modular conversion kits for both panic and fire-rated devices, reducing installation time and complexity; an auto-adjust latch retraction that automatically adjusts the latch; and on-board diagnostics. A hex dogging option allows the device to be manually dogged or undogged as needed.
