The Tensor returns the door to the closed position by the action of the hinges alone without the use of an overhead or recessed-floor closer. Technicians can install the hinge directly to the masonry or frame or to a fixed-glass side panel. The hinge features an inlay, which serves as a mechanical stop for the hinge, protecting the surface of the fixed-hinge section from damage when an occupant opens the door to 90 degrees. The hinge includes a zero-position adjustment for alignment of one door or a pair of doors.
