The D800 Series dead bolt lockset from DORMA Architectural Hardware offers a reliable way to provide safety and security in commercial and institutional applications. The large deadbolt is made from stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. The design incorporates a heavy-duty brass cylinder in a hardened steel housing surrounded by a heavy steel spin ring, reinforcing the security package in the door. This is coupled with a solid steel strike for use in a hollow metal frame and an additional reinforcing plate with three-inch screws for wood jamb installations. The Grade 1 dead bolt is available in either 2-and-3/8-inch or 2-and-3/4-inch backsets.
