Our commercial building systems are becoming more and more connected reflecting trends like Big Data and the Internet of Things. While this provides a great deal of benefit in terms of continuous improvement and optimum facility operation, it also offers new concerns about how systems are designed and managed. It is more critical than ever to protect these systems from network and web based threats and to assure the continuity of information at critical times from critical devices and systems.

In this webinar, we will discuss the need for IT (information technology) and OT (operational technology) to become integrated and to deploy IT management practices in remotely deployed "edge" systems in the OT space. We will look at network & device management, edge compute, cybersecurity and critical power protection as means to ensure important data will remain protected and highly available during facility events.
