Watermark Designs Re-tools Its Website To Provide Rich Gallery of Information, Images and Videos

Channeling Artistic Hub of Brooklyn, Watermark Designs New Website is Innovative, Informational and Interactive

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Watermark Designs, a leading manufacturer and designer of contemporary plumbing fixtures and bath accessories for more than 30 years, has launched a dynamic new website that will make the brand and its products more accessible to architects, designers, specifiers and customers.

The new website can be accessed at watermarkphotogallery.com, or through the “Photo Gallery” tab on Watermark’s homepage.

“What we worked hard to accomplish is a website that not only speaks to our brand and our products, but also one which brings some of our Brooklyn neighborhood flavor to the site, and we think we’ve accomplished this,” said Avi Abel, general manager of Watermark Designs. “We made sure to employ the latest programming techniques as well, since ease-of-use is a critical component as well as being nice to look at. If it doesn’t provide information and inspiration quickly and easily, it doesn’t matter how fancy it is.”

The new website gives access and insight into the company like never before. When designing the new site, the company and the developers used many of the best new programming techniques to provide users with the best experience. Using Responsive Web Design (RWD), the site is now crafted to provide an optimal viewing experience. Users can browse through images of every Watermark faucet collection as well as accessories like grab bars, console legs, grid drains and their lighting collections. To view the images more easily they make use of Parallax scrolling, a technique where the background images move by the camera slower than foreground images, creating an illusion of depth. The galleries feature detailed images of each collection, as well as links to product information. Along with products, the new site features a photo gallery tour of the factory, information about collaborative projects, examples of customized projects and a look at the manufacturing process, including the employees who guide it. Additionally, information about Watermark’s partners complete with images of their showrooms and select installation projects is included.

“Anytime you make changes to your website, you have an opportunity to rethink how you should best provide information to all of your customers. We didn’t want to go crazy with technology to the point that we wouldn’t be ourselves – and I think we’ve done a great job of bringing our own voice to the site. We’ve had great feedback from our dealers and our customers,” said Jody Rosenberg, president of Watermark Designs.

In addition to the “Photo Gallery,” Watermark’s homepage now features a “Client Services” section featuring a plethora of services including Online Catalog/Products, Price Lists and Product Knowledge Presentations. The look and feel of the website definitely stays true to Watermark Designs’ ‘Made in Brooklyn’ roots.
