What's So Green About Rivers Casino - Branch 2012 Kick-off Educational Program & Networking Event hosted by the USGBC - Illinois Chapter!

Program Description:
Join the USGBC - Illinois Chapter's North/Northwest Suburban Branch for a case study and tour of Rivers Casino in Des Plaines. This event will also include time for Networking and brief discussion of upcoming Branch programs for 2012.
Jason Westrope of Development Management Associates and David Rahe of Pepper Construction Company will share their experience building the world’s first casino to seek LEED certification. Some of the highlights include LED lighting, intelligent parking system, outdoor smoking lounges, native landscaping, living green walls and free valet service for fuel efficient cars.
The presentation will be held in the casino sports bar and project on the 20’ x 10’ high definition big screen.
Appetizers will be provided, cash bar.
Attendees can take time after the presentation observe and enjoy the casinos various venues and green features
