Join the USGBC Illinois Chapter's Fox Valley Branch to earn 1.5 LEED Specific GBCI CE Hours for an in-person webinar.
The Illinois Chapter has purchased a subscription to offer USGBC's archived webinars in group settings in order to offer LEED Specific credential maintenance opportunities to our members and guests.
The first session is LEED 209: The Evolution of LEED: Insights into Rating System Updates: Materials and Resources. on TBD
There are numerous proposed changes to the MR section for 2012. This webinar will summarize the rationale for these changes and explain them in general terms. Examples drawn from real projects will be used to show the practical implications of the proposed changes. Upon completion of this webinar session, attendees will be able to better understand how the LEED MR credits for 2012 may change their practice.
This session is approved for 1.5 hours of LEED Specific (BD+C, ID+C, O+M, HOMES, ND) GBCI hours as well as 1.5 AIA/CES LU/HSW/SD hours.
•Explain the rationale behind the changes coming to the MR category
•Identify areas of practice that are mostly likely to be impacted by changes to the way credits in this category are weighted
•Conceptualize changes to the MR category through project examples.
•Decide how the changes to MR credits will impact your professional practice
