Subaru Offers Industrial RGX Generators Powered By Overhead Cam Engines
LAKE ZURICH, Ill — Subaru’s RGX Industrial Generators combine premium features and heavy-duty construction to offer a reliable power source to a variety of end-users. Two models are included in the line, the RGX6500 and RGX7500, providing a mid-range option in Subaru’s extensive Industrial Generator lineup. Featuring top-of-the-line components includingpowerful overhead cam (OHC) EX Series engines, the RGX Generators are designed to handle the needs of both large and small professional contractors, industrial users and rental centers. Now, the Industrial RGX Generators arebacked by Subaru’s new industry-leading 5-year limited warranty covering both the generator and engine.
The RGX6500 is powered by Subaru’s 12-horsepower EX35 engine and delivers a maximum output of 6,500 watts (5,000-watt standard output rating). Featuring a 7.3-gallon capacity fuel tank, the unit offers 10.3 hours of continuous operation at the rated load.
Powered by Subaru’s largest EX engine, the 14-horsepower EX40, the RGX7500 delivers a maximum output of 7,500 watts (6,000-watt standard output rating). The unit offers a 7.3-gallon capacity fuel tank and 7.4-hours of continuous run time at the rated load.
Standard on all models, an automatic voltage regulator (AVR) system provides precise, steady voltage control output, with less fluctuation. Using sophisticated electronics, thesystem continuously monitors voltage output to ensure steady power flow, necessary for powering more sensitive electronic equipment.
The RGX6500 and RGX7500 feature heavy-duty construction and quality components for unmatched durability andreliable operation. A tubular steel frame protects the generator, its engine and components, while a large capacity steel fuel tank and fuel gauge offerlong run times and accurate fuel monitoring. Durable electric components feature copper windings with high temperature insulation. Solenoid-actuated AC circuit breakers provide reliable overload protection, and GFCI receptacleshelp ensure operator safety.
Both generators offer numerous standard features to ensure optimum performance. An automatic idle control lowers the engine speed when no electrical power is needed, reducing fuel consumption and minimizing noise. The professional-grade control panel includes an hour meter to aid in proper maintenance intervals and tracking, and monitoring total operating hours. Additional features include an electric start with recoil backup, low-tone muffler with U.S. Forestry-approved spark arrestor, and low oil level sensor with automatic shutoff.
