PRSM Introduces Comprehensive Lighting Toolkit for Retail Facilities
Interactive Resource Features GE Lighting Products and Tools - Addresses Pending U.S. Regulations, Trends in Sustainability
The Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association (PRSM), the authority on retail, multi-site facilities management today announced the launch of its first comprehensive, interactive Lighting Toolkit designed to address sustainability and energy consumption mandates driven by pending government regulation.
The Lighting Toolkit guides facility managers through the process of researching and investing in new lighting solutions. Step-by-step the guide shows how to evaluate lighting programs, including what to expect from each option, while providing other needed resources. For instance, users will find current information on federal and state legislation; environmental and technical reference data; TCLP test results; in addition to technical white papers. Moreover, since the U.S. federal government will begin enforcing new rules for commercial lighting installations next month – to help conserve the nation’s energy resources – the Lighting Toolkit will serve as a timely online destination for retail facilities nationwide.
