Olathe, Kan. – ITW Professional Brands has launched the Quatguard® XL food service wiper, an Atlantic Mills brand disposable towel that maximizes sanitizer performance and improves restaurant sanitation. The new disposable food service wiper features Quat and Chlorine compatibility, microfiber bacteria removal and superior cleaning performance in one product. The new food service wiper will be featured at the NRA Show 2013 in Chicago in ITW Professional Brands’ booth 5728.
Tests show that current wiping products, like cotton towels, do not leave the proper amount of sanitizer on the surface because it is being absorbed into the cotton fibers. Quatguard XL counteracts this by adsorbing the sanitizer rather than absorbing it into the cloth, and then releasing it back onto the wiping area. This makes sure the proper amount of sanitizer is contacting the surface every time to ensure proper sanitization.
