LotInfo LLC Announces the Release of LotInfo Pro for NYC

GIS Capabilities accessible to non-tech users in the utility, real estate and finance and other industries that need location intelligence.

LotInfo, a provider of location intelligence that assembles property, owner, building and location data for planning, site selection, geo marketing and asset management, announced today that Version 9 of LotInfo Pro for NYC is now available with updated property, sales and building permit information for the 5 Boroughs of New York City, new links to web-based property data and imagery, and enhanced ability to upload, map and edit in-house data.

LotInfo Pro for NYC is a Windows® based program that can be installed on individual PCs, or on a Local Area Network for multiple users.

“Property information about New York City is available from multitude of sources.  LotInfo brings it all together and allows users to visualize it on a map. This latest version provides access to new sources of data- and makes it easier to access, edit, import and export the information.” said Tri Vo, partner at LotInfo.
“LotInfo GIS has been available to users of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) mapping software since 1997.  We saw the need for versions of LotInfo that do not require GIS, for non-tech users who need to access and manage mapped information.     In 2005 we developed LotInfo Pro to meet this need, and in 2006 we added LotInfo Enterprise, a web based Intranet version for organizations with multiple users and/or multiple locations.  We are now in the process of expanding geographic coverage nation-wide for both programs” said John Ziegler, partner at LotInfo.

LotInfo links information from public sources to a lot level computer map for easy access by clicking on the map screen, or by outlining an area of interest to highlight properties that meet user criteria. Users can add and automatically map their own assets, overlay them on the map, and attach in-house information for retrieval and updating.  LotInfo Programs and data reside within the user organization’s firewall, and can be customized to meet client requirements.
