Legrand Adds New Features to Wiremold Overfloor Raceway
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Popular Wiremold® OFR Series Overfloor Raceway now has even more installation flexibility thanks to a new fitting that takes advantage of abandoned poke-thru holes, and a new 45-degree flat elbow fitting. Designed for relocatable or permanent installations where access through floors and ceilings is not an option, OFR Series Overfloor Raceway provides four channels of capacity and access to a wide range of power, communications, and A/V connectivity.
The new OFRPT3 and OFRPT4 poke-thru transition fittings now allow you to feed OFR Raceway directly from an existing 3 or 4 inch poke-thru device. Simply replace the installed 3” or 4” poke-thru device with the new fire-classified OFRPT3 or OFRPT4 transition fitting, attach the OFR Raceway base to this new transition fitting, feed cables into the raceway and complete normal OFR Raceway installation.
The OFR 45° flat elbow enhances the flexibility of the system layout by making a diagonal 45° turn on the same
surface.
These system enhancements make the OFR Series Overfloor Raceway System even more compatible with existing wire and cable management systems, such as surface raceway and architectural columns. It remains the smallest, lowest, narrowest, and ADA-compliant overfloor raceway system. It attaches directly to floor covering, including carpet, tile, and wood. Installers do not have to remove or cut into existing floor coverings. The textured black powder coat finish resists scuffing and scratches, is paintable, and blends well with many floor coverings. The raceway cover is difficult to remove without the proper tools, discouraging unwanted access.
