Kimball Office Adds Heavy-Duty Itsa Seating Option
JASPER, Ind. — Kimball(R) Office is increasing the scope of its task seating line, Itsa, by introducing a new heavy-duty model capable of supporting up to 300 pounds.
“The Itsa Task 300 provides designers and facility managers with ergonomic, comfortable and flexible seating options, appropriate from the reception station to conference rooms, individual workstations and the C-suite,” said Allen Parker, vice president of product, sales and marketing for Kimball Office. “Providing workers with ergonomic comfort and support for healthy posture is critical to success, and by offering a heavy-duty task seating option, designers have the means to accommodate a broader range of individuals.”
Itsa is recognized for its clean lines, stylish design, competitive price point and versatility. The line includes two base models, with the choice of a rounded or square seat, seat slider, height adjustable arms, synchro-tilt or knee-tilt control, black mid-back mesh, 55-millimeter casters and a black polyurethane base. The Itsa Task 300 is equipped with a black powder-coat aluminum base. All upholsteries from the Kimball Office Vision Collection are available at standard lead-time, with five seat color options as part of the five-day Kimball Office quick ship program, Kwik Office.
Itsa meets Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) Indoor Advantage(TM) Gold and American National Standards Institute/Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association (ANSI/BIFMA) level(R) 2 certification, and may contribute to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED(R)) credits.
