The Model RT-40 expands the company’s rooftop unit line, delivering 6.5 to 10 tons of DX cooling, 1,200 to 5,000 cubic feet per minute (cfm) airflow and 100 to 300 mbh indirect gas heating. Joining the RT-70 and RT-120 for capacities up to 13,000 cfm, the RT-40 controls temperature and humidity with standard high-performance features. These include inverter scroll compressors for part-load efficiency, direct drive fans with VAV modulation and EC condenser fan motors that adjust head pressure to optimize energy savings and indoor comfort.
