AEE: Association Offers Online Training on 'The Next Frontier for Energy Management'
Dec. 17, 2015 — The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is offering an interactive program, titled "Big Data & Analytics: The Next Frontier for Energy Management," that participants can complete right from their computers, with two-way live audio via a phone or VOIP.
You'll have opportunities to interact with instructors and colleagues in real time during the four live teleconferencing sessions, as well as in the time between sessions.
Presented online in a series of four live two-hour time modules, the seminar is designed to show you how to effectively employ today's big data technology assets and analytics tools as a valuable means both to maximize energy savings and to ensure that planned energy projects will fulfill their targeted goals.
The program instructors will be:
• John J. "Jack" McGowan, C.E.M., currently principal of the McGowan Group. He was formerly president and CEO of Energy Control, Inc. (ECI), an OpTerra Energy Company, and also has held management positions with Honeywell, Inc. and Johnson Controls, Inc. Widely published in the energy field, his recent book, Energy and Analytics: Big Data and Building Technology Integration, was published by The Fairmont Press.
• James Lee, founder and CEO of Cimetrics, Inc. a firm specializing in engineering and analytical services in the areas of networked control systems, building automation systems, sub-metering systems, and commercial HVAC systems. He has been a leader in the embedded control networking and building automation community for over two decades.
AEE is now accepting registrations for programs beginning Feb. 8 and June 20. For more information and to register, click here.
