STANLEY Healthcare and Schneider Electric Announce Global Strategic Alliance

Waltham and Andover, Mass. — March 31, 2015 — STANLEY Healthcare, a market-leading provider of visibility solutions and analytics for the healthcare industry, and Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, have announced a strategic alliance to offer STANLEY Healthcare’s AeroScout Real Time Location System (RTLS) platform as part of the Schneider Electric StruxureWare for Healthcare software suite.

“STANLEY Healthcare’s innovative AeroScout RTLS platform provides hospitals with real-time, actionable intelligence, which is a perfect complement to StruxureWare for Healthcare, our existing healthcare technology infrastructure,” said Steve Nibbelink, global director, healthcare security and alliances, Schneider Electric.

“Having the ability to leverage advanced analytics to monitor the status and location of patients, staff, and critical medical equipment enables healthcare professionals to make better decisions, improve operations, and provide higher-quality patient care.”

The real-time location data on patients, staff, and equipment from STANLEY Healthcare’s AeroScout solutions will be integrated into the Schneider Electric StruxureWare for Healthcare platform, giving clinicians and administrators new levels of efficiency and operational insight.

The Schneider Electric StruxureWare for Healthcare software suite provides hospitals with facility-wide visibility and access to critical data to ensure financial health and patient safety, as well as optimize staff productivity, hospital security, and the environment of care via an integrated approach.

The solution delivers data customized for various job roles – clinical, business management, operations, and facilities staff – anytime, anywhere, to help healthcare organizations maximize business performance and improve levels of patient care.

Together, the STANLEY Healthcare and Schneider Electric solutions will enable hospital clinical, facilities, and security staff to effectively monitor people and assets to manage patient room information, building management, or security data. These solutions will provide new levels of hospital safety and security, as well as improve patient flow, and optimize business performance.

“With locations in more than 100 countries around the world, Schneider Electric is a recognized leader in helping hospitals improve energy efficiency, patient safety and the environment of care,” said Greg Borecki, vice president of sales, international and strategic alliances, STANLEY Healthcare. “We’re pleased to partner with Schneider Electric and we look forward to working closely with them to help hospitals worldwide create an intelligent infrastructure for increasing operational efficiency and enhancing patient safety and security.”
