The two sessions cover retro-commissioning and energy codes
Two new programs to be launched in January 2009 by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) will test, validate and certify environmentally sustainable products. A validation program will audit and test environmental claims made about a product. A certification program will then go one step further and assess and certify products based on industry-accepted standards. Certified products would receive a UL listing or label. Products will be reassessed periodically to ensure that the validation or certification remains current.
