The 3,250 kW Series 4000 diesel generator set is designed to respond to transient loads and quickly recover from voltage and frequency dips commonly associated with cycling loads and motor starting. In standby applications, generator can accept its full rated load in a single step in accordance with NFPA 110, according to the company.
