Theft StopperŪ is a battery-operated alarm that features a steel-cable-operated switch mechanism to help stop theft and vandalism of fire extinguishers. If the protected fire extinguisher is moved from its normal position, the device emits an alarm reaching 95 or 105 decibels. The alarm comes with a 9-volt battery, anchors and screws. It also includes a short cable to deactivate the alarm when servicing the fire extinguisher. A 12-volt, direct-current, remote-powered model also is available.
