Las Vegas, Nev. — Securitron, an ASSA ABLOY Group brand, recently introduced a new and improved GL1 Electromechanical Gate Lock, providing weather-resistant access control for a variety of gate applications.
The GL1 is ideal for commercial, industrial, and high-security applications such as swinging, sliding vehicle, pedestrian, stock, and remote field gates as well as interior cribs.
The 2,000-pound holding force electromechanical gate solution now supports a standard mortise cylinder, which enables a key override to be used if necessary. It also includes a self-aligning receiver, enabling it to handle 100 pounds of pre-load.
The updated GL1 is now available in four easy-to-install models: standard fail locked, standard fail safe, fail locked monitored, and fail safe monitored.
