Revolutionary Tork Easy Handling Packaging Makes Installation and Clean-Up Easy
New Tork packaging is easier to lift, carry, open and dispose
PHILADELPHIA – SCA, the makers of the Tork® brand of away-from-home paper products, introduces Tork Easy Handling product packaging, a patented assortment of innovative and ergonomic solutions to ease the workload of facility staff while saving time and money.
The Easy Handling packaging includes the Tork Carry Box™ and Tork Carry Pack™ for a selection of Tork roll and folded towel products. Additional towels and napkins will be offered in the Easy Handling design in the future.
The Tork Carry Box is designed to save time and minimize unnecessary aches and pain. Boxes can be carried with either one hand or two, and offer a more comfortable grip. Boxes open quickly and easily without the need for any cutting thanks to easy-to-pull adhesive flaps or glued tops. Empty boxes are easy to remove and recycle because they fold, so staff can carry up to 10 empty boxes at a time.
The Tork Carry Pack makes carrying refills easy due to ‘smart’ handles similar to those on plastic grocery bags. With perforated wrapping, the packs are easy to open. Once used, simply crumple them up and throw away.
“We have made significant improvements in efficiency that lead to happier workers and higher productivity—which ultimately saves time and money,” said Josh Renihan, Director of Washroom and Regional Marketing for AfH Professional Hygiene-North America. “As with all our product development, we listen carefully to what our customers tell us and constantly work to improve our product offering to ensure the customer receives value-added solutions that only the Tork brand can deliver.”
