Product Release: Fulton Condensing Heat Boiler

PULASKI, N.Y. — Fulton Companies (www.fulton.com), the global manufacturer of steam, hydronic and thermal fluid heat transfer products, announced today that a new line of condensing boilers ranging from 300,000-850,000 BTU/hr will be unveiled at the 2012 American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) AHR Expo, January 23-25 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill.

Fulton’s Caliber™ boiler is a condensing, lightweight commercial hydronic boiler with ultra-low emissions of CO and NOx. The product line features a high quality, full stainless heat exchanger suitable for hydronic heating.

This boiler, equipped with a Honeywell SOLA control and a variable speed premix combustion system capable of a 5:1 turndown, will round out Fulton’s product offerings in the light commercial market. Fulton’s hydronic offerings include low emissions products with greater than 92 percent thermal efficiency from 300,000 BTU/hr up to 6,000,000 BTU/hr with the Vantage condensing hydronic boiler.

Fulton New Product Development expects certification to be completed sometime shortly after the first quarter of 2012, with Caliber hitting the market well before the 2012 heating season.

To see the Caliber, visit with Fulton Companies representatives in Booth #2136 at the AHR Expo.

Additional Fulton products that will be displayed at the Expo include:

The Tribute®, Fulton’s newest vertical tubeless steam boiler. The Tribute features full 4:1 turndown, a stainless steel jacket and the Fulton SC-750 advanced boiler control system. The SC-750 control feature was developed by Fulton’s engineering staff to provide high-tech display parameters for burner firing rate, stack temperature, steam pressure, boiler water temperature and stack emissions levels. The module also displays status of the boiler feed water pumps, de-aerator water temperature and boiler water level, allowing an operator to closely match and maintain boiler performance with system requirements. The Tribute is available in a variety of trim options, completely customized and configured to best meet individual customers’ unique job-specific needs. The Tribute model honors the Fulton Companies’ heritage as a family-owned business, and Fulton founder Lewis Palm.

The Reliance™ high-efficiency hydronic boiler, which features fiber mesh burner technology for even flame distribution and low emissions, 5:1 turndown capabilities, and a variable-speed blower motor. The Reliance has a copper finned tube heat exchanger and stainless steel heat exchanger jacket. It is designed for non-condensing heating applications. The Reliance product line range is 500,000 BTU/hr through 3,000,000 BTU/hr.

The Vantage™ condensing hydronic boiler, which was recently expanded to include a 6,000,000 BTU/hr model. Fulton’s proven Vantage line offers traditional fire tube design and diverse burner configurations for ultra-high efficiency hydronic heating applications. The 6 million BTU/hr model joins the Vantage 2 million, 3 million, and 4 million offerings on the product line, including low emissions and dual fuel options.
