Peerless Introduces ENERGSAVE G-Series
Aluminum French Doors that Provide a Larger Opening Area
Ft. Scott, Kansas –– Peerless Architectural Windows and Doors has introduced the ENERGSAVE G-Series Aluminum French Doors which have been designed to provide an unobstructed larger opening area by eliminating the need for a meeting rail or a vertical mullion between the doors. The 3 ¼” AW 100 French Doors that are ideal for condominiums and apartments offer enhanced energy efficiency with a U value of .334, along with superior air, water and acoustical performance. The Series features a ½” ADA sill with an AAMA rated 12psf water performance, which would only be achieved typically with a 3” sill. The design has incorporated a multi-point locking system along with an optional key operated handle for improved security. Durable metal handles and hinges are featured for continued performance year after year. Only one handle is needed to operate the doors. The French door design also allows for two different finishes––one on the exterior and a different one on the interior. Benefits of the ENERGSAVE French Door series for architects, mangers, building owners and installers include––design flexibility, Green building enrichment, lower operating costs and ease of installation.
