NEMA: Association Publishes Guide to Understanding Smoke Control Systems
Rosslyn, Va. — June 5, 2015 — The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has published NEMA SB 20-2015 Guide to Understanding Smoke Control Systems.
This is a new standard developed by the NEMA Fire, Life Safety, Security, and Emergency Communications Section to provide an understanding of the purpose and general operational requirements for smoke control systems and to allow users to identify appropriate test methods.
The standard covers activation, operation, and testing requirements for smoke control systems in all types of buildings.
NEMA SB 20-2015 may be downloaded here at no charge or purchased in hard copy for $27 on the NEMA website.
