Jaga Climate Systems Enhances Product Line with Dual Heating and Cooling Solution

TORONTO -– Jaga Climate Systems, a leading manufacturer of high-quality, energy-efficient climate control systems, today revealed the Clima Canal hybrid climate control system – a dual heating and cooling solution. Ideal for office buildings, homes, schools and other public spaces, the Clima Canal offers extreme flexibility for architects and engineers looking for powerful heating and cooling solutions that maximize space  while using less energy.

“On the surface, the Clima Canal seems simple because it blends so seamlessly into the building and design of the space. It’s so small and quiet, you won’t even know it’s there,” said Cyrus Kangarloo, Jaga engineering and HVAC system advisor. “With the use of our advanced heat exchanger and Electronically Commutated (EC) motor fans, the Clima Canal is able to heat and cool effectively and rapidly, allowing users maximum control of their room temperature with a single unit.”

The Clima Canal’s built-in profile allows the unit to fit seamlessly into a space, sliding perfectly into the floor so windows are never blocked by mechanical equipment. Further, the unit can be topped with one of seven wood-grain or aluminum grilles to match the floor design. The grilles are also flexible, making cleaning a non-issue.

The Clima Canal system has a build-in depth of only 10 cm (3.85 inches), making it easy to install into buildings with raised floors or casting. Also, it can be installed as a continuous product with a single grille, offering a sleek and clean look. Because fans operate on brushless EC motors, they consume less than one-tenth the electrical power of conventional motors in service today. This, combined with Jaga’s proven Low-H2O heat exchangers that work with traditional hydronic and chilled water systems, help make a space more livable and cut down on utility expenses. In addition, the unit can be adjusted to meet the specific height requirements of the project—from zero to 45 mm and a fine height adjustment up to 8 mm to perfectly align the appliance with the finished floor.

The Clima Canal will be highlighted at Jaga booth #432 during the Construct Canada show Nov. 30-Dec. 1.
