Danfoss introduces WSH series of R410A scroll compressors

3/26/2013

WSH series designed to optimize HVAC systems with low condensing temperatures

BALTIMORE – Danfoss, a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency electronic and mechanical components and controls for air-conditioning, heating, refrigeration and motion systems, introduces the WSH series of R410A scroll compressors.

Available in six models with cooling capacities that range from 7.5 to 15 TR, WSH compressors are optimized to operate at low temperature ratios, resulting in higher efficiency at part-load conditions – as much as 5 percent higher when compared to standard air-conditioning compressors. In addition, a quick connector plug available on select models saves assembly time and enhances annual productivity by 1 percent. The plug also helps reduce instances of miswiring, enhancing compressor safety and reliability in the process.

The WSH series offers a complete range of manifold options that enable customers to choose different tandem and trio combinations in order to meet system capacity and application requirements while reducing installation costs. The series also features an optional acoustic hood, which reduces noise levels by 6 to 8 dB(A) for a quieter environment.

This and other features make the WSH series compressors suitable for most heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) applications in hotels, houses, restaurants, office buildings and factories.
