Technology Care LLC has announced the launch of a new 24 hour test kit for measuring airborne asbestos as well as PM10 and PM2.5 particles.
Hans Wyssen, general manager of Technology Care LLC, explains: “Despite limits, research indicates that there is no safe level of airborne carcinogens. For this reason, Asbestos24 compares levels of dangerous airborne particles to levels normally found in buildings rather than to a limit.”
Using the Asbestos24 kit is a two step process. First, the electrostatic air sampler is exposed for 24 hours. Second, the sampler is sealed and sent to a laboratory in Zurich, Switzerland with the postage paid return mailer included in the kit. About one week later, test results are sent by email.
