Lennox Expands Landmark Rooftop Unit Line With High-Efficiency Models

DALLAS – Lennox now offers increased efficiency, flexibility and reliability with the expansion of its Landmark® high-efficiency rooftop units. Landmark high-efficiency models can reach up to 12.7 EER and, with optional MSAV® (multi-stage air volume) supply fan technology, up to 14.5 IEER—making these units 27% more efficient than standard models.* The addition of the Environ™ Coil System on all 7.5- to 25-ton gas/electric and electric/electric units provides increased reliability and sustainability, while the BACnet option ensures seamless integration with the most popular building automation system protocol.

“With the addition of new tonnages to our high-efficiency Landmark models, we can now offer our customers increased energy savings, more flexibility across the product line and qualification for state and local utility rebates,” said Mike Ray, Senior Rooftop Unit Product Manager, Lennox Commercial.

BACnet is offered on all Landmark units and provides connectivity to a wide range of capabilities including: control of the building’s heating, cooling and humidity levels as well as lighting, outdoor signage, refrigeration, security systems and other vital functions. The factory- or field-installed BACnet option is equipped with a BTL-listed device that ensures seamless integration with BACnet systems, giving the customer peace of mind. BACnet’s plug-and-play format also helps customers save time and money on installation and service by eliminating the need for expensive tools.

Landmark 7.5- to 25-ton gas/electric and electric/electric units also feature the Environ Coil System, which uses up to 52% less refrigerant, is up to 59% lighter and has up to 20% fewer brazed joints than traditional units. Environ increases the reliability and sustainability of the unit.

The Landmark unit’s flexible design offers more than 100 field-customizable options and over 30 features designed to reduce installation and service time. Landmark units are available in 2- to 25-ton standard-efficiency and 7.5- to 25-ton high-efficiency gas/electric and electric/electric configurations, and 2- to 20-ton heat pump configurations, with efficiency ratings up to 13 SEER, 12.7 EER and 14.5 IEER.
