Carlisle Replaces Standard Bonding Adhesive with Low-VOC Option for Fully Adhered PVC Installations

(Carlisle, PA) – Carlisle SynTec Systems, a leading manufacturer of single-ply roofing materials, has discontinued the production of its standard PVC bonding adhesive and will now offer its Sure-Flex Low-VOC Bonding Adhesive for fully adhered PVC installations.  The new Low-VOC adhesive is better for the environment, and also features a higher bonding strength that allows for higher wind uplift ratings up to FM 1-225.

Sure-Flex Low-VOC Bonding Adhesive also features decreased flashing time and its higher strength allows for quicker bonding, both of which increase installation productivity for the contractor without compromising roof system performance.

Sure-Flex Low-VOC Bonding Adhesive provides excellent adhesion between Carlisle’s PVC and Elvaloy-based PVC KEE membranes and a variety of substrates, and can be used in any application where the standard bonding adhesive was previously used.
