Reconfigurable Power for Meeting Rooms

WEST HARTFORD, Conn.  – Legrand/Wiremold offers a new way to provide power anywhere in meeting rooms, even when tables are moved to reconfigure the space. Wiremold® Work Surface Modular Power Kits are ideal for meeting rooms that serve multiple functions, such as presentation, training and collaboration, and where presenters and attendees need access to power, no matter what the room layout.

Work Surface Modular Power Kits are sized to outfit 5’ or 6' tables with plug-and-play power. Kits include table boxes, power whips, mounting clamps and cable covers.  Tabletop portals have power outlets and openings for RJ45 network connections.

The backbone of the Work Surface Modular Power Kit is the UL Listed 4-wire, 2-circuit non-sequential wiring system. This means there’s no need for special color coding or numerical sequencing of tables. They can be arranged in any order and rearranged by unplugging the whip, moving tables and connecting them again. Two circuits provides the capacity to feed up to 20 portals from one feed source.

Work Surface Modular Power kits connect to a variety of popular cable management systems, including Wiremold 2400 Series raceway, OFR Series Overfloor Raceway, WallSource multiservice boxes or existing wall outlets. A hardwired starter kit is available for municipalities where code requires it.

The Work Surface Modular Power Kits are part of a new family of Wiremold meeting room solutions to keep rooms neat and productive. These products enable facilities to reconfigure meeting room quickly and easily and provide for future technology upgrades.
