USGBC Event: January Chapter Business Meeting and Networking Event

Program Description:
Join the USGBC - Illinois Chapter for the first of 2012's quarterly business meetings.
This is a unique opportunity for the Illinois Chapter; prior to our meeting will be a forum brought to Chicago by the U.S. Green Building Council, the World Business Council on Sustainable Development, and the United Nations Environment Programme, in partnership with USGBC-Illinois. During this forum, Exploring The Role of Cities and Buildings in the Green Economy - A Chicago Event on the Road to Rio +20, we will hear from local business leaders and government officials, discuss regional examples of success and challenges, and be part of the global dialogue on how green building policies, programs, and technologies are fueling a sustainable future and green economy. By registering for the Chapter Business Meeting and Networking Event following the forum, you have an opportunity to network with forum attendees and learn about what USGBC-Illinois is planning for the coming year. As we embark on 2012, our 10th Anniversary, USGBC-Illinois will be rolling out our new Strategic Plan, Educational Programming, Special Events and more. We are excited about our plans for the new year and look forward to sharing them you.
