Serious injury or death can result from a defect in NTI Brand Boilers. The boilers are being recalled because the boiler door can fail to seal properly due to incorrect burner door studs allowing flames and gas to escape, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s recall notice.
Facility managers who purchased this boiler model from an independent heating or plumbing contractor between September 2024 and February 2025 should stop using it immediately and contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer will send a certified technician to install a repair at no cost.
There have been no reports of injuries as a result of the recalled boilers as of June 2025. About 800 boilers total are subject to the recall notice.
