September 15, 2015 - Contact FacilitiesNet Editorial Staff »
The Cleveland Clinic is planning a $302-million expansion plan for Cleveland Clinic Florida that will include capital improvements to its campus in Weston, Fla., and a new clinic and ambulatory surgery center in Coral Springs.
In Weston, the expansion will include the addition of three operating suites and additional inpatient hospital beds, as well as expansion of the emergency department and imaging and laboratory facilities. General renovations and additional parking are also part of on-campus enhancements that will take place over the next three years.
Cleveland Clinic Florida is also expanding in Coral Springs and will build a new 65,000-square-foot facility that will house a clinic with up to 40 exam rooms and an ambulatory surgery center with several operating suites. The new facility will also have procedure rooms while serving as a family health center.
