The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is hosting two forums in Florida in the fall that will focus on climate change and decarbonization.

On Wednesday, Sept. 10 in Miami, USGBC will host the Florida Building Transformation Forum – Building Resilience: Adaptations for a Changing Climate in South Florida. The forum, scheduled for 8 a.m.-noon, will explore innovative approaches to urban resilience, climate-responsive architecture and sustainability in high-performance, mixed-use and commercial design.

The second forum, Building Towards Zero – Decarbonizing the Built Environment in Florida, will be Thursday, Nov. 20, from 3-6 p.m. at the Tampa International Airport. The forum will explore practical tools, resources and strategies to support building decarbonization at the project or portfolio level.
