USGBC members have until Sept. 30 to vote on the 2007 Board of Directors candidates.
The election process has been changed to allow all employees of member organizations to vote, with every vote by a member contact counting as a percentage of the vote from his/her company. To the extent that member contacts from one company cast different votes, candidates may receive a percentage of a vote, resulting in decimals in the voting tally.
Directors are responsible for overseeing the vision, values and mission of USGBC. They serve three-year terms. There are a total of 4 positions open, including one in each of the following sectors: professional firms; corporate and retail; educational institutions; and professional societies/trade associations.
