By Dave Lubach, Chief Editor

What can facility professionals learn from the NBA? A whole lot, especially when artificial intelligence (AI) steps onto the court.

“Game On: AI, Arenas and the Future of Facility Operations” was announced as the general session at NFMT East, set for March 10-12 for the first time ever in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Ronnie Bryant, the CIO of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, will be joined by Dave Lubach, chief editor of the facilities market, for a behind-the-scenes discussion about the Spectrum Center – home of the Hornets and the site for the forward-thinking Reimagine renovation.

The conversation will break down how AI is becoming a franchise player for modern facilities – helping boost fan experience, courtside and driving back-of-house wins across HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing and security while assisting the facilities team for smarter, faster and more resilient operations.

The general session, set for the opening day of NFMT on Tuesday, March 12. The general session is open to all attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and speakers. Click on the link here to register for the show and learn more information.
