The Web site is the first in a number of WorldGBC initiatives aimed at furthering the Council’s goals to serve the real estate and development industry and to help transform it into a sector in which sustainability is a core value. The site will be a source of information, news, data and opinion about the green building practices and developments worldwide. Likeminded individuals from around the world are expected to share information and interact with colleagues and acquaintances in the green building industry. The site also promotes international sustainability events, and provides a roadmap for other countries aiming to set up their own not-for-profit Council.
The World Green Building Council is a global federation of Green Building Councils from around the world whose common goal is the sustainable transformation of the global property industry.
