Piper Jaffray & Co. will host, Opportunities in Solar and Clean Tech Symposium, Feb. 21, 2006 in New York, the company has announced.
The symposium, in its first year, will include management presentations, panel discussions and an investor forum. Publicly traded and private companies scheduled to present include: BP Solar, SunPower, Evergreen Solar, Energy Conversion Devices, Solar Integrated Technologies, Emcore, Daystar, First Solar, PowerLight, Konarka and several others yet to be scheduled.
Piper Jaffray Senior Technology Analyst Jesse Pichel will moderate the one-day event, Piper Jaffray said. Pichel recently published a report titled, "Solar Powered: An Emerging Growth Industry Facing Severe Supply Constraints." The symposium is intended to cover key issues surrounding solar investments.
