NFMT West offers attendees more than 30 sessions with real experts providing real answers for facility managers to take home to their staff at institutional and commercial facilities.
Many of the education sessions are led by boots-on-the ground facility managers who experience the highs and lows of their occupation every day. Like many of our readers, they are celebrating a huge project that saves their organizations thousands of dollars one day, then calling in specialists to solve an emergency HVAC issue the next.

7:30 a.m. — Women Who Make It Work. In this panel moderated by Assistant Editor for Facilities Elaina Myers, this interactive panel invites attendees of all backgrounds to examine how inclusion shows up in facility management, and where it risks falling short. A panel of women will spark the conversation. Panelists include Leah Withrow, assistant field manager for Arizona State University Athletics, and Yanet Vega, director of facilities and environmental services, for El Rio Health in Tucson, Arizona.

In this panel moderated by Facilities Chief Editor Dave Lubach, past Facilities Champions Brandon McCullough of the Charter of Northville Township in Michigan and Doug Diaz, Director of Optimization with the Clark County School District, discuss how facility managers pivot when they’re having a perfect day, only to have the unexpected pop up.
