School facilities teams are under increasing pressure to manage aging infrastructure with limited resources and incomplete data. Many school districts lack real-time visibility into how their systems are actually performing. As expectations rise around indoor air quality, sustainability and transparency, facilities leaders are often expected to meet these high standards without the proper tools or budgets to support them.
The Future-Ready Facilities Grant, launched by Attune, is designed to address this growing problem. The national program will provide $500,000 in total support to 25 school districts across the country.
Rather than offering funding alone, the grant delivers a full package. Selected districts will receive monitoring equipment, access to Attune’s cloud-based platform for one year and support for training and on-going use. These tools give facilities teams real-time data to track performance, detect issues early and make more informed operational decisions.
All applications are evaluated with input from various organizations including the Center for Green Schools, the International WELL Building Institute and the 21st Century School Fund. Priority is given to underserved districts, including Title 1 and tribal communities.
Applications are accepted through May 15, and selections will be announced June 15.
